Making eyes from rivoli, again. 

Those of you watching my scraps folder have probably seen WIPs of this, and me complaining about polyester. Now you can see why. Short story: was walking around a craft store, saw glow-in-the-dark thread. Glow-in-the-dark polyester embroidery thread. For cross-stitch. It's hard to find a thread less suitable for beadwork. It tangled, refused to go through a needle and clung to everything. But... it glowed. 
And that was the main reason I made this.
Polyester thread is pure evil. 
But it glows.
I like shiny glowy things.

I don't want to know, how long it took me. I just don't. *Looks at the first WIP's date* oh my. No way. 

Also, that green cloth was the only thing big enough to be used as a background. Couldn't use white because feathers.

My camera is a toaster, so that's the best picture of the glow I could take. In person it looks much better than this pixelated mess, but oh well.

~75 cm (29.5 inches) long, ~57 cm (22.4 inches) wingspan.

Beads used:
Toho size 11: 1, 7b, 24b, 36, 84, 27f, 2024f, 25b, 5b, 12, 30b.
Toho size 15: 27, 27b, 1, 5c.
Toho size 8: 24, 1.
Also some white Tila beads, Twin, Magatamas of varying shapes and sizes, dagger beads, claw beads, cube beads, some size 6 beads, Swarovski crystals and rivoli, transparent copper-lined Delica, transparent czech rocailles, red string, and a lot of steel wire.
The glowing thread is DMC E940 embroidery thread.
